If you don't have tickets to tonight's opening event, check out a full list of screenings at various locations in Maryland and D.C.

The festival closes Saturday night with a screening of the Roger Ebert documentary “Life Itself” followed by a Q&A between WTOP Film Critic Jason Fraley and the film’s director Steve James (“Hoop Dreams”). We’ll have a preview of that event, and interviews with other at AFI Docs filmmakers Friday morning on
WTOP.
