Freezing rain, ice strike D.C. area

  • WHAT TO EXPECT:

All the ice that's been melting during the day could refreeze overnight, as temperatures dip into the 20s, and could trigger more delays Thursday morning.

Thursday and Friday look mostly sunny to partly cloudy and cold with temperatures back in the upper 30s. Another chance for rain and snow exists this weekend as an area of low pressure moves back into the region by Sunday.
