Fort Reno cancels outdoor summer series
The organizers say they reached out to NPS to resolve the dispute, but were unable to resolve the issue.
"With the heaviest of hearts the decision is that the concert series will be dark for 2014 in an effort to resolve this for the future," Fort Reno says in a statement. "I hope it goes without saying that this is not the outcome we expected and certainly don’t want."
Calls to NPS and Fort Reno have not been returned. We will update this story as more information becomes available.
